MTV join ModeLabs

The musical marks do not adopt all the same strategy to touch the consumers. While Universal, M6, NRJ, Virgin or Fnac launch virtual mobile operators, the chain of television MTV (Viacom group) decided to join ModeLabs, French company specialized in the design of mobile telephones, to reveal a compound with its colors.

Baptized MTV 3.0, the compound offers a touch screen of 2,2 inches, an objective 2 mégapixels, an extension Minis-SD and a connectivity Bluetooth, the whole in a relatively compact format: 109 X 51 X 13 mm for a weight of 93 grams. With its cellular connector industry limited to the GPRS, the compound does not give however access to the chain of television MTV and the mobinautes will have to be satisfied gate Wap MTV and of its procession of "exclusive" logos and ringings. ModeLabs promises however a future model, compatible 3G, for the beginning of the year 2007. Three graphic topics with the colors of MTV, a score of logos and fifteen ringings are integrated into the apparatus. After models for Airness, Elite (arranges mannequins), It (magazine), MTV becomes the fourth mark with becoming "virtual manufacturer" thanks to ModeLabs. The MTV 3.0 is available right now from 279,00?. It could be proposed thereafter in packs operator.
