UK: No sperm for sale on the Internet

Sperm_internet New regulations covering the sale of fresh sperm will stop Internet sperm providers to sale their products on the Internet.

The Department of Health said tha they will not be able to sell fresh sperm direct and they will have to guarantee it has been screened for six months, just like the clinics. They will be subject to the same rules and will have to freeze sperm."

The online providers will have until April 2007 to conform to the new regulation and the effect of the new rules will likely be that such samples will remain frozen by female customers until self-insemination.
